This is an advertising challenge, to spark creativity and encourage higher level language skills. Children should research a range of advertising slogans and phrases, making notes of what they like about them and what they don’t. Then using those as stimulus, they should complete this advertising slogans literacy challenge to come up with their own advertising slogan or phrase to aid the interest in a particular item, encouraging ‘writing to persuade’. This is great to make literacy a little more exciting, stimulating imagination and creativity.
