Description
This is a great Behaviour management tool to support teachers when working with children with special educational needs such as ADHD or other difficulties, when children struggle to not shout out in lessons. Sometimes their impulsivity overrides their self-control. They often need to work on this using different strategies. This is one of the strategies which can be tried. Children start off with a board full of smiles, if they shout out they cover one of their smiles with an ‘ooops’ card. This is a great way to teach children to try to manage their behaviour with a little practise. Consistency is the key.
