This is a great activity to support the Circus topic in the form of a circus diary writing activity, using a cross curricular approach to incorporate literacy. Children can imagine themselves as a circus performer, or to have a job doing something within the circus. Using the sentence starter prompts to support, if needed, they can write a descriptive diary entry to tell the reader about a day in the life of a circus worker/performer.
