Description
The English Language is a tricky one to learn, with lots of different rules for making things singular and plural depending on what letters the words end in. Here we have designed some activities to help learners to get to grips with this complex task in writing. We have also included the rules to guide children in when to add just a letter ‘s’ and when different letters are needed. This can be taught through writing support or as part of the SPAG teaching as a separate learning topic. This also forms part of Phase 6 phonics programme in the Letters and Sounds Phonics Scheme.
