Description

This is a selection of activities in the form of reading activities. The idea is children should read the paragraph, then look at the words which are written in red. They should look these words up in a thesaurus to find the alternative words which could be used to replace them. Then write the different words on the sheets to show their choices. This is a great activity to get children used to using a thesaurus to support their writing.
