The (EYFS) Early Years Foundation Stage is an important part of learning, as it aims to provide solid foundations for all future education. EYFS covers age groups from 3 years to 5 years, lower foundation (nursery) covers 3 to 4 year olds and upper foundation (reception) covers 4 to 5 year olds.
