Literacy is an important part of communicating ideas in education. Children with special educational needs can often struggle with this. However, with the right tools and resources, learners who have previously found literacy a struggle can begin to thrive and develop their strengths and weaknesses.

Here you will find a whole range of literacy resources which have been developed by experienced educational professionals, who have taught children with a vast range of complex and severe needs. Many powerpoints have been developed to inspire, engage and enthuse learning. Printable activities have been created to ensure they involve the children and are very hands on. Many resources to support children working below the National Curriculum (at p-levels) are available to download at your finger tips to help put the love in learning.
