Year 3 English
The Year 2 assessments are now over and done with. The end of Key Stage 1 and the beginning of Key Stage 2. With the move to ‘juniors’ also comes a greater need for independence.
As part of the KS2 English curriculum children will move away from Phonics and be taught spelling patterns, also paying more attention to adding a suffix or prefix to root words.
In writing there will be more focus on using creative language and techniques to enhance their writing styles.
Here we have many activities including powerpoint presentatations which have been created to engage and enthuse learners. There are also a whole range of activities which can be printed to aid learning and development, whilst gaining a ‘love’ of learning.
