These are great activities to help children to grasp the concepts of full, half full and empty. Children can colour in their own juice images, to show what they think each word represents in a visual. We have also included an activity which children can estimate how many cubes they think it will take to half fill and fill up a cup. They can then do the experiment to see if they were close. It is also good to discuss fair test rules, ie that cubes must be the same size and the same cup or exact same size cup should be used for both experiments and question why this is important.
