Continuing a pattern can be a tricky concept for learners, particularly learners with Special Educational Needs. However after doing this with large shapes and objects and turning it into a bit of a rap, saying the colours as we move down the line, the children grasp it. They can then use that strategy to complete the patterns by colouring in the shapes or placing a counter of the correct colour in the next space.
