Children often struggle with low self esteem. This is a great way for children to begin to recognise the tools and skills they have to help them to build on their confidence and self esteem themselves. By thinking about how the different features of a garden make up its beauty, children are encouraged to look at all the different parts of themselves that make them beautiful and special. Children can work their way through the activity with an adult, to help them in talking and opening up more in a sensitive, child friendly way.
