Year 2 Humanities
Year 2 Humanities covers the subjects of Geography and History. As part of the Geography skills children are taught about the United Kingdom and the rest of the world, looking closely at seasides and island homes. For History skills children are taught about the passing of time, they are encouraged to compare and contrast events that happened long ago with present time. Here you will find a whole range of resources to cover the latest 2014 curriculum, including PowerPoint presentations and activities to encourage exploration and observations for young learners in all aspects of humanities. All of the resources have been designed by experienced teachers who are still working within the teaching profession, with children firmly at the centre.
